MiQ is announcing a new protocol to verify and certify OGMP 2.0 Level 5 emissions management, and welcoming comments from interested parties.
The protocol, developed by MiQ in consultation with OGMP 2.0, builds on existing international verification schemes and will enable the issuance of MiQ Certificates based on third-party verification of an operator’s execution of OGMP 2.0 Level 5 requirements.
This collaboration aims to unite the necessary pieces of a monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) scheme to help market participants prepare for both voluntary and regulatory schemes that are increasing in rigor.
We are inviting feedback from expert stakeholders, including regulators, industry, and verification services on the protocol.
