MiQ has signed a pioneering agreement with Penn America Energy Holdings LLC which will see the planned Penn LNG liquefaction facility exclusively source 100% certified gas. The facility will also aim to achieve the top A grade on MiQ’s LNG methane standard.
MiQ CEO Georges Tijbosch said: “That is a really big statement because ultimately LNG plants are buyers of gas. It’s going to drive transparency, it’s going to drive markets, and it’s going to drive methane abatement.”
